Delivering digital footfall in eCommerce flooring
With a 100 year guarantee Woodpecker Flooring, established in 1973, is a renowned international manufacturer specialising in high-quality solid wood flooring. The company, guided by three generations of the Ker family, is celebrated for its expert craftsmanship and extensive range of flooring solutions for diverse properties.
Woodpecker sought to develop a “Best in Class” eCommerce website to enhance the customer journey and drive online sales. The goal was to create a user-friendly platform that seamlessly supported the purchasing process while aligning with a revamped digital marketing strategy aimed at boosting online growth.
We conducted a comprehensive website audit and competitor analysis to identify key areas for improvement like a user-preference based product categorisation. Our team developed UX wireframes and explored various design routes to ensure an intuitive user experience. We created and integrated custom plugins such as a floor-area calculator based on actual product dimensions, and performed end-to-end ERP integration with custom coding for live updates of stock levels across the site and the client’s Trade Hub. Ongoing maintenance and support were also provided to ensure optimal site performance and continuous improvement.
In a nutshell we needed a trusted partner that we could work alongside to completely transform our web presence and help us hit some very ambitious goals.
